Google’s Pixel Watch 3—More Than a Timepiece, It’s a Lifeline in Disguise!

Google announces that the Pixel Watch 3 has been cleared by the U.S. Food and Drug Administration (FDA) for a new Loss of Pulse Detection feature. This life-saving technology monitors the pulse of the user and alerts emergency services if a pulse has been lost, and the user is unresponsive. Following its initial launch in 14 countries within the European Union in September 2024, the feature is expected to make its US debut by the end of March 2025. The Loss of Pulse Detection joins the suite of health and safety features on Pixel Watch 3, including Car Crash Detection, Fall Detection, and Irregular Heart Rhythm Notifications.
