Government Launches AI And Computational Thinking Curriculum For Classes 3–8

In a landmark move, the government has rolled out an AI and computational thinking curriculum for school students from Class 3 to Class 8. The program is designed to prepare young learners for a technology-driven future while addressing the growing need for digital skills in education.

Curriculum Details
The curriculum was launched by Education Minister Dharmendra Pradhan at Vigyan Bhawan. It includes structured modules, a textbook for Class 6, and a teachers’ handbook to guide implementation. Developed by CBSE in consultation with NCERT and other stakeholders, the program emphasizes hands-on learning, coding basics, and AI applications in everyday life.
