Gujarat Titans Triumph Over RCB in High-Scoring Chase

In a thrilling encounter, Gujarat Titans clinched a convincing eight-wicket victory over Royal Challengers Bengaluru, successfully chasing down 170 in just 17.5 overs. Jos Buttler’s explosive 73 off 39 balls, featuring five sixes and six fours, anchored the chase, while Sherfane Rutherford’s unbeaten 30 off 18 provided the finishing touch.

Sai Sudharsan played a crucial role, scoring 49 off 36 before falling to Josh Hazlewood. Shubman Gill, the Titans’ captain, was dismissed early for 14 by Bhuvneshwar Kumar. However, Buttler’s aggressive batting ensured RCB's bowlers had no respite.

Earlier, RCB posted 169/8 in their 20 overs, but their bowlers struggled to contain Gujarat's power hitters. Josh Hazlewood was the most expensive, conceding 43 runs in 3.5 overs, while Bhuvneshwar Kumar managed to keep things tight with figures of 1/23 in four overs.
