Gurugram's Smart Traffic Revolution: Maruti Suzuki and GMDA Join Forces to Curb Road Chao

Maruti Suzuki India Limited has collaborated with Gurugram Metropolitan Development Authority (GMDA) and Utkrisht Society for Safe Haryana to launch an Integrated Traffic Management System (ITMS) in Gurugram. The initiative from CSR will deploy ~400 cameras and radar units across 23 intersections, spanning 40 kilometers of road. The state-of-the-art system will track several traffic offenses, such as red light jumping, speed, and wrong-side driving. The initiative will promote road safety, better law enforcement, and a culture of obedience. With the fast expansion of Gurugram resulting in mounting traffic issues, this partnership will transform traffic control in the city.
