Heavy-Duty Levies Ahead: Trump’s Tariff Engine Roars

In a sweeping move to bolster domestic manufacturing, US President Donald Trump has announced a 25 percent tariff on all imported medium and heavy-duty trucks, effective November 1, 2025. The decision is part of a broader protectionist push targeting foreign competition.
