HG Infra Engineering Expands Solar Portfolio with Strategic Acquisitions

HG Infra Engineering Ltd has significantly bolstered its presence in the solar power sector through recent strategic acquisitions. The company completed the purchase of 28.40 lakh shares in H.G. Jetpur Solar Project for ₹2.84 crore, aiming to support the expansion of solar power plants. This move follows the earlier establishment of two solar subsidiaries, H.G. Nayabera Solar Project and H.G. Chanpura Solar Project, in June 2024. Additionally, HG Infra's subsidiary, HG Banaskantha Bess, entered into a Battery Energy Storage Purchase Agreement with NTPC Vidyut Vyapar Nigam for 185 MW/370 MWh capacity. These acquisitions underscore HG Infra's commitment to diversifying its portfolio and strengthening its position in the renewable energy sector.
