Honda Activa e: Introduces Battery Rentals for Seamless Rides

Honda has introduced a revolutionary battery rental service for its Activa e: electric scooter, allowing users to pay and ride without worrying about charging. The Activa e: comes with two swappable 1.5 kWh batteries, providing a range of 102 km. Battery swapping stations will be operational in Bengaluru from February 2025 and in Mumbai and Delhi from April 2025. This service is part of Honda's battery-as-a-service model, reducing the upfront cost for consumers. The rental cost for the batteries is expected to be announced soon, enhancing the scooter's accessibility and reducing range anxiety.
