Howzzat for an Opening? SRK and Virat Bowl Over Fans with 'Pathaan' Dance

The Indian Premier League 2025 kicked off spectacularly, with Bollywood superstar Shah Rukh Khan and cricketing legend Virat Kohli lighting up the stage at Eden Gardens, Kolkata. Earlier today, the two performed a sensational dance, retracing moves in Khan's blockbuster film Pathaan, at the opening ceremony. Khan, who co-owns Kolkata Knight Riders, hosted the ceremony with his well-known panache, while introducing artists such as Shreya Ghoshal and Karan Aujla. The crowd roared when Khan called Kohli to the stage, and their performance of "Jhoome Jo Pathaan" will surely be memorable. The star-studded opening ceremony started the tournament in fabulous fashion before the tournament's opening match featuring Kolkata Knight Riders v. Royal Challengers Bengaluru, which is set to be the first match of IPL's 18th season.
