HUL Shares Rise After CCI Approves Minimalist Acquisition

Hindustan Unilever shares are trading higher following the Competition Commission of India's (CCI) approval to acquire Minimalist's parent company, Uprising Science. The deal involves a 90.5% stake acquisition for ₹2,670 crore, with plans to acquire the remaining 9.5% within two years. Minimalist, known for its science-backed skincare products, will continue to be managed by its founders. This strategic move strengthens HUL's position in the premium beauty segment, leveraging Minimalist's digital-first approach and robust distribution network.
