Result anticipation is high among thousands of candidates who appeared for the exams in May, with many already preparing for the next phase of their professional journey, including campus placements and membership applications.

Expected Result Timeline

- CA Final May 2025: Group I exams were held on May 2, 4, and 6; Group II on May 8, 10, and 13

- CA Intermediate May 2025: Group I exams took place on May 3, 5, and 7; Group II on May 9, 11, and 14

- CA Foundation May 2025: Exams were conducted on May 15, 17, 19, and 21

- Results for all levels are expected to be declared on July 3 or 4, 2025, based on historical trends and updates from ICAI insiders

How To Check The Results

- Visit the official ICAI result portal: icai.nic.in or icaiexam.icai.org

- Enter your six-digit roll number and registration number

- Solve the captcha and submit to view your scorecard

- Candidates can also register to receive results via SMS or email through the ICAI portal

Qualifying Criteria And Merit List

- To qualify, candidates must score at least 40 percent in each paper and a minimum of 50 percent aggregate in each group

- ICAI will also release a merit list featuring the top 50 rank holders who score above 55 percent in their first attempt

- The result window will also include options for mark verification and certified copies of answer sheets

Campus Placement And Post-Result Activities

- Registration for the August–September 2025 campus placement drive will open on July 10 and close on July 20

- Candidates who qualified in November 2024 but missed the February–March 2025 placement cycle are eligible to apply

- ICAI will soon release detailed guidelines for the placement process, including eligibility, documentation, and timelines

Historical Context And Pass Rates

- In the May 2024 session, results were declared on July 11

- The pass percentage for both groups combined in CA Final November 2024 was 13.44 percent

- A total of 11,500 candidates qualified as Chartered Accountants in the previous cycle
