Ice, Ice, Everywhere: The Sky's Unexpected Surprise

Reports of big chunks of ice dropping from clear skies have been on the rise all over the world, baffling experts and residents. Recently, a huge chunk of ice dropped in Vehari, Pakistan, with serious destruction. Such instances have been witnessed in Florida, USA, and West Bengal, India. The events are mostly linked to "megacryometeors," huge pieces of ice that develop in the air and drop unexpectedly. Another theory is that ice forms on planes and breaks off in mid-air. Though uncommon, such events are also potential threats and have led to investigations into why they occur. Experts opine that climate change could be one reason for an increase in such occurrences.
