IMF Boosts Spain's Economic Outlook: Growth Forecasts Rise to 2.3% for 2025

The International Monetary Fund upgraded the growth estimate of Spain in 2025. It predicted it to be a 2.3% growth, increasing it by two tenths compared with earlier estimations. Thus, Spain has remained the only developed European economy for which growth estimates have been advanced, which contradicts sharply against the estimated 1% for the euro zone. This optimism, according to the IMF, is attributed to Spain's robust domestic demand and sound economic performance, despite greater geopolitical uncertainties within the region. This forecast sets out Spain's potential as the leader in the recovery of economic activity within Europe.
