India: A Tourism Powerhouse by 2035

India is on track to become a global tourism leader by 2035, driven by ambitious strategies and robust growth in domestic and international travel. The Federation of Associations in Indian Tourism & Hospitality (FAITH) envisions 75 million foreign tourist arrivals by 2035, supported by policy reforms, infrastructure upgrades, and sustainable practices. Ecotourism is projected to grow to $41.5 billion, emphasizing biodiversity conservation and cultural preservation. With rising incomes and digital innovation, India is poised to redefine its tourism landscape as a sustainable and diverse destination.
