India's High-Speed Leap: 1100-Ton Bridge for Bullet Train Project

Railway Minister Ashwini Vaishnaw visited the Ahmedabad-Mumbai Bullet Train project, which marked a major milestone: the completion of a 1100-ton bridge with Made-in-India parts. The bridge, which is part of the National High-Speed Rail Project, is a testament to India's engineering capabilities. Several specialized parts were designed and produced locally. The minister pointed out that this milestone proves India's ability in bridge construction, comparing it to the skill employed in building the Anji and Chenab bridges. This achievement is a key milestone in the ambitious high-speed rail corridor, which will link key economic centers and revolutionize regional connectivity.
