iRobot Raises Going Concern Risk Amid Financial Struggles

iRobot, the manufacturer of Roomba vacuum cleaners and former $1.4 billion Amazon acquisition target, has raised questions about its status as a going concern. The shares fell more than 30% on the news, continuing financial woes. iRobot cited a broadened net loss of $77.1 million and a 44% decline in revenue during the fourth quarter. It is considering strategic options, including a possible sale or debt refinancing, as it is exposed to stiff competition from Chinese peers such as Ecovacs Robotics.
