Is Your Phone Dictating Grocery Prices? Zepto Under Fire for Price Discrepancy

A Bengaluru woman, Pooja Chhabda, has highlighted significant price differences for grocery items on Zepto's app between Android and iPhone devices. In her demonstration, 500 grams of grapes were priced at ₹65 on an Android phone, while the same item cost ₹146 on an iPhone. Similarly, capsicum was listed at ₹37 on Android but surged to ₹69 on iPhone. These findings have raised concerns about potential discriminatory pricing practices based on device type. Zepto has not yet responded to these allegations.
