ISRO Achieves Milestones in Cryogenic Engine Technology

ISRO has made significant strides in cryogenic engine technology, creating three world records, according to its chief. Recently, ISRO successfully tested the CE20 cryogenic engine for the LVM3-M6 mission, achieving a 100-second hot test duration under non-vacuum conditions. This innovative approach reduces setup time and enhances delivery efficiency for space missions. The CE20 engine powers the Cryogenic Upper Stage of the LVM3 launch vehicle, crucial for India's ambitious space endeavors, including future manned missions like Gaganyaan.
