Jammu's Jewel Unveiled: Tawi River Front Project Set to Dazzle by April 2025

The Rs 143 Crore Tawi River Front Project in Jammu is scheduled for completion by April 2025. Till date, March 12, 2025, work has progressed significantly, with 96% completed on the left bank and 94% on the right bank. The Tawi Barrage and Artificial Lake, which are part of the project, are 85% complete. This project is anticipated to reshape the tourism face of Jammu and boost economic development. The riverfront area will be one of the chief attractions, augmenting other developments such as the Jambu Zoo and Tirumala Tirupati Temple. Authorities are sure that the project will make Jammu a top tourist spot, competing with the iconic landscape in other metropolises.
