Jasprit Bumrah to Miss First IPL 2025 Matches

Jasprit Bumrah, Mumbai Indians' pacer ace, will miss the early games of IPL 2025 because of a stress fracture in his back. Bumrah got injured while playing the Border-Gavaskar Trophy in January and has been rehabilitating at the BCCI Centre of Excellence in Bengaluru. He is likely to be with the Mumbai Indians team around early April, pending medical clearance. This loss will be a major setback to MI's initial campaign, which features games against Chennai Super Kings and Gujarat Titans. The team will have to depend on other bowlers such as Trent Boult and Deepak Chahar while Bumrah is on the road to recovery.
