Jubilant Agri and Consumer Products to Establish Subsidiary for Agriculture and Chemical Businesses

Jubilant Agri and Consumer Products Limited (JACPL) has announced plans to incorporate a new subsidiary focused on agriculture products and chemicals. This strategic move aligns with the company's Board approval on February 9, 2024, for the demerger of its agri-products business into a new entity. The subsidiary will likely encompass JACPL's existing portfolio of fertilizers, crop nutrition products, and chemicals under the "Ramban" brand.

This restructuring follows JACPL's recent implementation of a Composite Scheme in August 2024, which consolidated various group businesses. The new subsidiary is expected to streamline operations and potentially unlock value for shareholders. JACPL, a part of the Jubilant Bhartia Group, currently operates in performance polymers, chemicals, and agri-products, with manufacturing facilities across Uttar Pradesh, Rajasthan, and Gujarat.
