Jupiter Wagons Ltd. Eyes ₹1,000 Crore Fundraising to Fuel Expansion

Jupiter Wagons Ltd. is planning to consider raising up to ₹1,000 crore through equity and debt instruments as part of its strategic growth plan. The board's approval will help bolster its expanding order book, which stands at ₹7,101.66 crore currently, and support upcoming projects, including a new foundry in Jabalpur. This comes after the company had already successfully raised ₹528 crore in 2023-24, and now the company is working towards increasing its manufacturing capacity from 900 to 1,000 wagons per month. It signifies Jupiter's seriousness in fulfilling the increasing order book in the railway sector as well as developing new segments such as electric vehicle manufacturing.
