Justice for a Hero's Family: Pension Restored

Indian Army has been successful in reinstating the family pension of Biwari Boro, mother of Late Guardsman Barun Chandra Boro of 7 GUARDS. The wait of three years was over when Mrs. Boro got ₹17 lakh arrears, and her monthly pension was also resumed. This step reaffirms the Army's intention to take care of the families of soldiers. The pension was stopped in 2021, and the grieving mother had to endure a long wait. The process of restoration took almost a year of continuous follow-up. Mrs. Boro was grateful, reflecting the strong connection between the armed forces and the bereaved families.
