Klarna's Pre-IPO Power Move: Dashing to the Finish Line with DoorDash

Klarna, the Swedish fintech titan, has teamed up with DoorDash to provide flexible payment options to its US clientele. The DoorDash campaign allows users to either pay in full, pay in interest free installments, or defer payments. This is also DoorDash's first buy now, pay later (BNPL) collaboration, allowing Klarna to widen its scope in everyday spending categories. This announcement follows Klarna's forecasted listing on the New York Stock Exchange (NYSE), with revenue growth of 24% in 2024. This partnership and new deals, such as being the exclusive provider of BNPL for Walmart, point to Klarna's growing momentum in the market prior to what could be one of the more notable IPOs in 2024.
