Kolkata Knight Riders Post Challenging 204/9 Against Rivals

In a high-octane display of power-hitting, Kolkata Knight Riders (KKR) put up a formidable total of 204/9 in their 20 overs. The innings featured quickfire cameos across the batting order, with the top four laying a strong foundation. Rahmanullah Gurbaz (26 off 12), Sunil Narine (27 off 16), and skipper Ajinkya Rahane (26 off 14) gave KKR a flying start, maintaining a blistering run rate.

The real anchor of the innings, however, was Angkrish Raghuvanshi, who smashed a vital 44 off just 32 balls. Rinku Singh added firepower in the middle overs with a handy 36 off 25, while Andre Russell's explosive 17 off 9 balls gave the innings late momentum.

Despite the onslaught, the bowling side found some joy through Mitchell Starc, who led the attack with figures of 4-0-43-3. Axar Patel provided excellent control with 2 wickets for just 27 runs in his 4 overs, and Vipraj Nigam chipped in with 2 wickets of his own.
