Larsen & Toubro Expands Green Energy Partnerships with John Cockerill and ReNew Power

Larsen & Toubro (L&T) is strengthening its position in the green energy sector through strategic collaborations. L&T has partnered with John Cockerill to manufacture electrolyzers for green hydrogen production, with plans to set up a 1 GW per annum electrolyzer manufacturing plant, expandable to 2 GW. The company has also joined forces with ReNew Power to develop, own, and operate green hydrogen projects across India. These partnerships aim to tap into the growing green hydrogen market, with L&T leveraging its engineering expertise and ReNew's renewable energy development experience. L&T's initiatives include commissioning its first indigenously manufactured hydrogen electrolyzer and operating a green hydrogen plant at its Hazira complex.
