Larsen & Toubro Secures $104 Million Saudi Grid Contract

Larsen & Toubro (L&T) has been awarded a $104 million contract to enhance Saudi Arabia's power infrastructure. The project involves constructing ±500kV High Voltage Direct Current (HVDC) transmission links to interconnect various regions of the national electricity grid, facilitating efficient power exchange and bolstering grid stability. Additionally, L&T will build two 380kV overhead transmission lines and a 380kV Gas Insulated Substation, supporting the integration of renewable energy sources and modernizing the country's power network. This initiative aligns with Saudi Arabia's vision to upgrade its infrastructure and incorporate sustainable energy solutions.
