LG Brings Water and Hope to Kano Community with Solar Borehole

LG Electronics has installed a solar-powered borehole for the Kawaji Saunar Mama community in Nassarawa Local Government Area, Kano State. This initiative, part of their Corporate Social Responsibility (CSR) efforts, aims to provide clean water access to over 300 households, addressing a water scarcity issue that has persisted for 21 years. The borehole is a key element of LG’s goal to support 50 communities in Nigeria by 2025. Mr. Paul Mbah, LG’s Marketing Manager, highlighted the company’s commitment to sustainable development and improving the quality of life. This project illustrates the vital role of renewable energy in solving water challenges in underserved areas.
