'Linguistic Diversity Serves As Foundation Of Our Unity,' Says PM Modi

Prime Minister Narendra Modi underlined the value of linguistic diversity for India's unity while speaking at the 98th Akhil Bharatiya Marathi Sahitya Sammelan. He said Indian languages have always enriched one another without hatred. Modi asked people to move away from misconceptions and accept all languages, labeling it a social responsibility. He pointed out India's linguistic diversity as evidence of its ongoing transformation and capacity to accept new thoughts. The Prime Minister's comments follow controversies surrounding language policies, including those surrounding the National Education Policy's language demands.
