Lunar Eclipse 2025: When the Moon Plays Hide-and-Seek with India

The first of 2025's lunar eclipses, or 'blood moon', will take place on March 14. The total lunar eclipse will be more than six hours long, with the peak eclipse at 12:28 PM IST. Sadly, the eclipse will not be visible in India since it occurs during the daytime. North and South American, Western European, Western African, and some Atlantic Ocean viewers will enjoy the best views. Indian fans will be able to watch this astronomical phenomenon only through online live streaming. The next lunar eclipse from India will be a full lunar eclipse on September 7-8, 2025, between 8:58 PM and 2:25 AM.
