Maha Kumbh 2025 Breaks Records: Over 60 Crore Devotees Take Holy Dip

Uttar Pradesh Chief Minister Yogi Adityanath announced that more than 60 crore devotees have taken a holy dip at the Maha Kumbh 2025 in Prayagraj, surpassing all previous records. This represents over half of the world's estimated 120 crore Sanatan Dharma followers. The UP government expects the final count to exceed 65 crore by the concluding 'amrit snan' on February 26. Yogi emphasized the event's significance, calling it a "medium to show gratitude towards one's heritage, culture, and religion." The Maha Kumbh has also attracted international attention, with diplomats from 73 countries participating in the sacred ritual.
