As the Mahakumbh Mela approaches its second Shahi Snan on January 29, the Uttar Pradesh Police are implementing strict security measures, establishing no VIP and no vehicle zones to manage the expected influx of 8-10 crore devotees. This year's event, coinciding with Mauni Amavasya, holds significant spiritual importance, promising devotees a chance for purification and redemption. Authorities have doubled security personnel and set up an Integrated Command and Control Centre to ensure smooth crowd management.
