Maha Kumbh 2025 Sets New Record: 60 Crore Devotees Taking Holy Dip at Triveni Sangam

The state government of Uttar Pradesh has declared that 60 crore devotees have taken a dip in the holy waters of Triveni Sangam during the ongoing Maha Kumbh Mela 2025, being one of the largest religious gatherings in the world. The aforementioned gargantuan model reflects the desire of a massive chunk-more than 55% of India's Sanatan adherents-for the final 'amrit snan' expected to reach 65 crore on February 26. The event enjoys an international footprint with diplomats from 73 countries participating in it. In contrast to other Kumbhs, this is a Maha Kumbh that happens once every 144 years, setting a record for the highest human gathering to attend any religious, cultural, or social event in history, thereby displaying India's rich spiritual heritage magnificently.
