Mahakumbh 2025: NAFED Delivers Over 1,000 Metric Tons of Subsidized Ration to Devotees

In a major initiative for Mahakumbh 2025, NAFED has distributed more than 1,000 metric tons of subsidized ration to saints and Kalpvasis in Prayagraj. This joint effort by the Union Home Ministry and Uttar Pradesh government aims to provide essential commodities like flour, pulses, and rice at affordable rates. Devotees can conveniently order rations via WhatsApp or phone calls. Twenty mobile vans are operating across the Kumbh Mela area to ensure uninterrupted supply. This special scheme reflects the government's commitment to supporting pilgrims during the world's largest religious gathering.
