Market correction hits IPOs, QIPs; half of 2024 issues now below issue price

The ongoing market correction has hit new listings hard, with 38 out of 91 IPOs and 55 out of 95 QIPs falling into negative territory. Experts attribute this downturn to aggressive pricing, market volatility, and a shift in investor sentiment. The BSE IPO index has plummeted by 11%, reflecting the broader market decline that has seen the Sensex and Nifty drop over 2.5% each in 2025.
