Mars Petcare and Swiggy Instamart Unite to Safeguard Community Dogs This Winter

Mars Petcare India and Swiggy Instamart have scaled up their "Paw Protecc" program, offering winter shelters for community dogs in key Indian cities. The initiative has installed close to 150 shelters in Delhi, Mumbai, and Bangalore, which serve as a safe haven for street animals during extreme weather conditions. Along with housing, the campaign has committed 20,000 healthy meals for vulnerable animals. The initiative comes in line with recent directives by the Animal Welfare Board of India urging companies to construct temporary shelters for animals. The initiative is based on collaboration with local NGOs to sustain the shelters and supply them with basic needs, proving to have a dedication towards safer environments for both pets and strays.
