Maruti Suzuki has made a bold declaration of its plans to recover a 50% market share of India's passenger vehicles by 2030. The company is working on various angles to reach this target, including its production capacity being doubled to 4 million vehicles per annum, strengthening the segments of SUVs and MPVs, and diversifying into electric and hybrid vehicles. Maruti Suzuki is putting a concentration on making products that meet the preferences of Indians, particularly on a high demand in SUVs and green vehicles.
