Maruti Swift Gets Pricier: Select Variants See Up to Rs 5,000 Hike

Maruti Suzuki has implemented a price increase for select variants of the popular Swift hatchback. The hike, effective February 2025, primarily affects automatic transmission models, with prices rising by up to Rs 5,000. This adjustment represents a 0.65% increase for affected variants. While some versions remain unchanged, the move reflects Maruti's response to rising input costs and market dynamics. The Swift, a bestseller in its segment, now ranges from Rs 6.49 lakh to Rs 9.64 lakh (ex-showroom). Despite the increase, Maruti continues to optimize costs to minimize the impact on customers in a competitive market.
