Masala Magic: Indian Restaurants Spice Up Asia's 50 Best List

 

In a momentous dining achievement, Indian restaurants have solidified their presence on the Asia's 50 Best Restaurants 2025 list. Gaggan in Bangkok, led by Indian chef Gaggan Anand, has been named The Best Restaurant in Asia. This contemporary Indian cuisine restaurant has won that award four times before. In India, Masque in Mumbai has been named The Best Restaurant in India 2025 and ranked 19th overall. Indian Accent in Delhi was head of the 46th rank; the extended list featured seven more Indian restaurants (Naar in Kasauli, Farmlore in Bengaluru, Americano in Mumbai and more) showing India's evolving culinary landscape and innovation, creativity, and local procurement. The award ceremony took place on March 25 in Seoul, celebrating Asian eateries.
