Matrika: Acer's Bold Step Towards Menstrual Health Awareness!

Acer India has rolled out a progressive menstrual leave policy called 'Matrika' that will give women employees an extra day of paid leave per month. This is designed to create a more empathetic and understanding workplace environment, enabling women to focus on their menstrual health without compromising on their normal leave allowances. Harish Kohli, Acer India's President and Managing Director, stressed that the policy is a move towards making discussions on women's health and well-being a norm. The action is in line with other companies such as Larsen & Toubro, as businesses become more aware of the need to cater to women's health in the workplace.
