In 2024, the world's most pressing wellness concern is on the horizon: mental health. Anxiety and depression dominated trends on search trends globally. A full review of Google Trends data indicated that anxiety was the most searched for mental health issue in 43 out of 64 countries, emphasizing a global focus on mental well-being. This surge in interest reflects a growing public awareness and a proactive approach to mental health, underlining the need for access to such resources and supportive frameworks.

 

This trend is also indicated by the World Health Organization's statistics which says that one in eight people is living with a mental disorder, that is about 970 million.

 

This increased consciousness is also impacting market dynamics; the global mental health market is estimated to increase at a compound annual growth rate of 2.76%.

 

Increased focus on mental health is leading people, organizations, and even governments to take attention towards the importance of mental well-being, invest in mental health services, and implement supportive measures to address this critical global issue.
