Microsoft Expands in Hyderabad: 4,800 New Jobs and AI Training for 1.2 Lakh People

Microsoft inaugurated a new 1.1 million sq ft campus in Hyderabad's Gachibowli, marking 25 years in the city. Telangana Chief Minister A Revanth Reddy opened the facility, which will house 2,500 employees. The tech giant plans to hire 4,800 more staff, boosting its workforce in India. Additionally, Microsoft partnered with the Telangana government to provide AI training to 1.2 lakh people and invest ₹15,000 crore in AI data centers. This expansion reinforces Hyderabad's position as a global IT hub and Microsoft's largest R&D center outside the US.
