Mirror, Mirror: 'Snow White' Reflects Mixed Fortunes at the Box Office

Disney's live-action adaptation of 'Snow White' featuring Rachel Zegler and Gal Gadot exhibited a minor uptick in its box office total in India on Saturday, the second day. The movie raked in ₹1.06 crore on the day, making it ₹1.71 crore in two days. Even with this marginal growth, the overall performance of the film falls short compared to other recent ones. On the other hand, 'Snow White' fared better in North America with a weekend box office collection of approximately $45 million. The movie's negative reviews and the huge production cost of more than $250 million are challenges to profitability.
