Modi's Green Milestone: Chhattisgarh's Rail Network Goes Fully Electric

Prime Minister Narendra Modi has inaugurated Chhattisgarh's 100% electrified rail network, a historic achievement in the state's transportation system. This feat reflects the nation's effort towards sustainable and efficient transportations. Modi launched various important developmental projects worth more than ₹33,700 crore across sectors of power, railways, roads, and education on his visit to Bilaspur. The rail network electrification is expected to decrease congestion, increase connectivity, and enhance economic growth within the area. Modi also inaugurated the MEMU train service between the Abhanpur-Raipur route, offering relief to local commuters who had been traveling earlier on private transport. This move is part of the overall strategy of the government to upgrade India's rail network and encourage eco-friendly transportation options.
