Motherson Reports Mixed Q3 Results Amid Strategic Expansion Plans

Auto components major Motherson Sumi Wiring India Limited (MSWIL) posted revenues of Rs 2,300 crores in Q3FY25, marking an 8.7% year-on-year growth despite challenges. However, net profit declined 17% to Rs 140 crores due to startup costs of new greenfield plants. The company is currently establishing three new facilities to support upcoming EV and ICE programs for major automakers like Maruti Suzuki, Mahindra, and Tata Motors. Despite expansion-related expenses, MSWIL maintains its debt-free status, demonstrating strong financial fundamentals.
