Mumbai's Under-Ground Metro 3 Will Connect to Worli by March-End

Mumbai's Metro Line 3 will finally reach out to Worli by the month-end of March 2025, a landmark in the city's public transport system. The 9.77-km underground section from Dharavi to Acharya Atre Chowk, Worli, will see the addition of six new stations to the current Aarey-BKC corridor. This phase will slash travel time between Aarey and Worli to only 36 minutes, providing a quick alternative to jammed roads. Fares will be between Rs 10 and Rs 60. The new phase is likely to see daily ridership increase substantially. As per the Mumbai Metro Rail Corporation (MMRC), work is 93.1% over, with finishing touches and safety clearances in progress.
