Intellect Design Arena’s Canadian subsidiary has partnered with a group of four pilot customers representing 35 Canadian credit unions to deploy its eMACH.ai Digital Engagement Platform. The move builds on its Central 1 digital banking takeover and cements Intellect’s position as a key technology provider to Canada’s cooperative banking ecosystem.
Intellect Design Arena Ltd has deepened its Canadian push, with its local unit signing up pilot customers that collectively represent 35 credit unions across the country for its eMACH.ai Digital Engagement Platform (DEP). These credit unions, transitioning from legacy Forge and MemberDirect stacks previously run by Central 1, will now use Intellect’s composable digital front-end for retail, SME and commercial banking journeys.
Key highlights of the partnership
-
The 35 credit unions are part of a wider Central 1 ecosystem of over 170 credit unions and banks whose digital banking operations have shifted to Intellect Canada.
-
Intellect assumes responsibility for digital channels, while Central 1 continues to provide underlying technology infrastructure and related services through the transition phase.
-
The pilots are anchored on eMACH.ai DEP, aimed at delivering unified, cloud-ready, API-led digital experiences across web and mobile, with faster rollout of new products and better member engagement.
This cluster deal positions Intellect as a strategic digital banking partner to the Canadian credit union system, supporting long-term growth in subscriptions, platform revenues and cross-selling of broader core and payments solutions.
