Sharika Enterprises Bags ₹1.18 Cr Smart Grid Order from TP Western Odisha Distribution Ltd (TPWODL)

Sharika Enterprises Ltd has informed the exchanges that it has secured a fresh contract from TP Western Odisha Distribution Ltd (TPWODL) for supply, installation, testing and commissioning of Feeder Remote Terminal Units (FRTU) and associated accessories for the utility’s distribution network in Odisha. The order is valued at ₹1,18,24,039.90 (about ₹1.18 crore), excluding GST, and falls under the company’s core competency of smart grid and power system automation solutions.​

Key contract highlights:

Awarding entity: TPWODL, a joint venture of Tata Power and Government of Odisha, signifying strong PSU–private trust in Sharika’s execution capabilities.​

Scope: Complete FRTU-based automation package, covering supply, installation, testing and commissioning, supporting real-time monitoring and control of feeders for improved reliability and loss reduction.​

Nature: Domestic competitive order, adding to Sharika’s growing portfolio in distribution automation and strengthening its presence in eastern India.​

Sharika said the order will be executed within the stipulated contract period as per TPWODL’s specifications and will be reported as part of its power system projects revenue.
