Uttar Pradesh is adopting Artificial Intelligence (AI) to make e-governance more modern, efficient, and innovative. The state government has started AI training for more than 1,000 secretariat officials in tasks such as document drafting, translation, and summarization. The program, which was started jointly with Microsoft with CSR funds, seeks to upgrade administrative processes and cybersecurity awareness. The training sessions take place at the computer lab of Bapu Bhawan Secretariat and will extend to all levels of staff soon. Officials laud the effort for bringing cutting-edge technology in the form of tools that ease complicated jobs. This is in line with UP's wider effort towards digital administration and advancements in technology.
