In spite of streaming's popularity, movie theaters are seeing a revival, especially among Gen Z audiences. A survey recently discovered that 75% of Gen Z claimed to watch at least one movie per month in the theater, the highest rate of any generation. After the pandemic, 60% of Gen Z intended to go back to theaters "as soon as possible." This is due to their love for experiential activities, as more than 65% liked Dine-In Theaters. Theaters are evolving by introducing immersive experiences, live events, and classic movies to meet this segment's need for social viewing and distraction-free entertainment.
