Global investment firm Blackstone has announced a partnership with the Telangana government to establish a data center in Hyderabad, with an investment of ₹4,500 crore. This initiative aligns with Blackstone's strategy to expand its data center footprint in India, following the launch of its data center platform, Lumina CloudInfra, which initially targeted Mumbai and Chennai, with plans to extend to Delhi-NCR, Hyderabad, and Pune.
The collaboration is expected to bolster Hyderabad's position as a burgeoning hub for international data centers, attracting significant investments from global technology companies.
